Lessons

Nate’s teaching is focused on providing students with solid skills and fundamentals of piano performance and musicianship, while never losing sight of the fact that joy and enthusiasm are the most important skills for any musician.

Beginning students focus on the basics of reading, notation, and keyboard skills, while more advanced students are encouraged to dive deeper into styles and genres that interest them, including jazz, contemporary rock/pop/musical theatre, and classical.

Other areas of study available include: collaborative piano, music direction, music theory, electronic synthesis, and arranging.
